New York-based pop-jazz band The Reign of Kindo unveiled a new song “Waiting on the Wind” on March 26, 2021.
The song is the third single off of their upcoming full-length album, following “Better off Together” and “Stolen Treasure”, which were released last September and November, respectively.
The band first performed the song at the Hi Hat in Los Angeles during the Happy However After Tour in August 2019.
The new album is expected to be released this summer. It is their first LP in three years. The band has 21 unreleased tracks and plans to release new music regularly until releasing the album.
Last September, frontman Joseph Secchiaroli told PopMatters in an interview, “We're planning to release new music regularly. That will all lead to a new full-length that we're hoping to drop next summer at the latest. We have about twenty-one unreleased tracks that we'll be focusing on getting out into the world now. We'll be writing along the way, too, of course, and we'll refine everything we have into the best records. All we can really think about is producing and making music, so we're going full steam ahead there.”- MrJE56XE-H4
