LP Returns With New Song “The One That You Love”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter LP returned with a new song “The One That You Love”. It is her first single since her fifth studio album “Heart to Mouth”.
She recorded the song at Hotel EI Ganzo in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico in 2019. Produced by Mike Del Rio.
“I allowed myself to conjure up all of the genres I love and just let it rip, wild-style, as usual,” Laura Pergolizzi (LP's real name) said of the song. “The melody flew out as if already written — all my favorite songs I’ve written have been like this.”
The accompanying music video was directed by Darren Craig. “For the video, we wanted most of all to establish the mood and vibe of the song and what’s to come,” she explained. “I’m rambling toward town, on a horse, and only I know where I’m going, but I want you to come along.”- source : Idolator
