Kim Petras Shares New Song “All I Do Is Cry”
German singer-songwriter Kim Petras is working on her new EP "Turn Off the Light, Vol. 2", which is set to be released on October 1st.
The EP is a part of the her debut album “Clarity”. The 1st part "Turn Off the Light, Vol. 1" was released last October.
On May 23rd, she released a new song “All I Do Is Cry” along with a lyric video from the debut album.
She told Interview Magazine about her music, “Really at the core, it’s just me growing and changing as a person. The first batch of songs I wrote, that was me being pretty insecure. Because as an immigrant from Germany coming to America, I thought nobody would want to listen to my songs. But then people really listened, and now I have a fan base. I think that gave me a tremendous amount of confidence in myself and in making the music that I want to make. This is just straight-up what felt right for me to do—what I felt the most passionate about.”
On June 11th, she kicks off the first leg of the Broken Tour with a show in Nashville. The trek is her first headlining tour including an appearance at New York City’s WorldPride event on June 29th.- source : Iterview Magazine
