Ruth B. Premieres New Music Video for “Slow Fade”
In 2018, Canadian singer-songwriter Ruth B. released two singles "Rare" and "Crave" from her upcoming second studio album. Followed by, she unveiled the third song “Slow Fade” on January 25, 2019.
The song was accompanied by the music video, directed by Philip Sportel. It was written by Ruth B., Josephine Vander Gucht and Anthony West. Produced by Dernst "D'Mile" Emille II.
“‘Slow Fade’ is about the realization that some things just don’t work out,” Ruth B. said of the song. “The hardship that comes with letting go of something that once brought you so much joy. It’s not a bitter break up song. It’s wishing the best for someone and realizing that something better awaits you as well.”
