Mackenzy Mackay Premieres New Song “Postcards” on BBC Radio 1
London-based singer-songwriter Mackenzy Mackay premiered a new song “Postcards” on BBC Radio 1's New Music Show with Sian Eleri.
The song is the first single since the EP “Life, Love & Upsets”, which was released back in June.
It was written by Mackenzy Mackay, Henry Tucker, and Eddie Allen who also produced the track.
Mackenzy Mackay said of the song, ”The song is about having a distance between you and your other half. It always sucks being far away from the one you love but there are ways to make it suck a little less I guess. Playing shows in all these amazing places for amazing people - I absolutely love that, however the downside is being away from home, but knowing it'll all be okay in the end when I get home and get to see the one I've been missing. There's nothing better than that feeling.”- Mackenzy Mackay embarks on his headline show in Australia, New Zealand, and North America in October. Th tour kicks off at Oxford Art Factory in Sydney on October 2 and will conclude at Mercury Lounge in New York on October 21, 2024.
