French DJ Gesaffelstein is back. Last month, he announced his third studio album “GAMMA” would be released on March 29, 2024.
The album is his first LP in five years since the 2019 album “Hyperion” and comprises a 11-track.
The album showcases his raw, industrial sound and finds he finally giving the mask a voice.
On the Jordan Hemingway-directed album trailer, you can see portraying all the different worlds of Gesaffelstein.
The visuals and imagery for the album have been spearheaded by Jordan Hemingway in close collaboration with Mike Levy.
From the album, he unveiled the first single called “Hard dreams” on March 1, 2024.- The track was written by Mike Levy and Yan Wagner. Produced by Gesaffelstein.
The accompanying music video was directed by Jordan Hemingway as with the album trailer.
Gesaffelstein created the perfect sound for a dark wave record by mixing synths and basslines, as well as adding Yann Wagner's smooth vocals.
He will appear on Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival Music festival in April.
