  • Cindë Releases New Song “VICTIM!” featuring Northside Hollow

  • Toronto-based singer-songwriter Cindë released a new song “VICTIM!” on February 14, 2024.

The song is taken from her upcoming debut EP “More Awake Less Alive”, which is expected to be released in 2024 via Spooky Action Records.
This time, she teamed up with Ontario-based singer-songwriter Northside Hollow on the track,
On the track, she shares a narrative of intense individual sacrifice and the stark awakening to her partner's unfaithfulness, transforming her anguish into a robust anthem of resilience.
The track was written by Bryn McCutcheon, Cindy DaSilva, Kirstyn Johnson, and Northside Hollow. Produced by Mike Tompa.
Cindë saod of the song, “'VICTIM!' is the first song on a very personal project I'm releasing this year (my first EP - finally). Experiencing and creating all facets of this project broke me and healed me in ways I could've never imagined and I'm really fortunate to have been able to purge this with my friends through music.”
  • She continued, “I was VERY in love while writing this - believe it or not. It was not until a specific V Day (ironically) where I started piecing together the biggest plot twist of my life. Considering we wrote my ONLY love song 'too much too soon' in the same 3 days as VICTIM! .. I'm sure on behalf of everyone there, I can say none of us expected what was about to happen to happen. Now I get to tell you MY truth. song by song. through every twisted stage of my grief. Get wrecked. Enjoy.”
The debut EP comprises a 5-track. Each piece within the EP details her struggles with sorrow, mistreatment, and the recovery process, designed to flow seamlessly from the concluding track back to the outset - a representation of the recurring nature of emotional recuperation.
