Sasha Alex Sloan Returns With New Song “Highlights”
American singer-songwriter Sasha Alex Sloan returned with a new song “Highlights” on February 16, 2024.
The song is her first solo music in two years since her 2022 sophomore album “I Blame The World”.
Also, it is the first release as an independent artist after leaving major label RCA Records in 2023.
As the single, it follows up the 2023 collaborative song “Hero” with Norwegian DJ Alan Walker.
The track was written by Sasha Alex Sloan and Jimmy Robbins. Produced by King Henry.
The accompanying music video was directed by Slater Goodson.
Sasha Alex Sloan said of the song, “Jimmy started playing this guitar riff and I was like, 'Do you have time to write another one because I really love that...' Luckily, he did and 'Highlights' poured out. This is a song I've been trying to write for a long time.
