Set the Sun Releases Debut Album “At War”
Nashville-based electronic metal band Set the Sun, headed by the mysterious duo Arc and Eris, released their debut album “At War” on November 17, 2023.
The album comprises 12-track, featuring guest appearances from Pete Murray and Clint Lowery. Produced by Matt Squire and mixed by Forrester Savell.
The songs include topics of personal strife, inner demons & mental health, disputes with loved ones, friction with politics & the world, disagreements with friends, apprehension towards change, and resistance to technology.
With the album, the band focuses on their mantra of "Illuminating, Awakening, Welcoming and Persevering Change" through music that depicts the beauty of darkness.
The band said of the album, “Our mission is to give an authentic voice to our unspoken conflicts - to cast a light on them.”- They continued, “This album would not have been possible without the help of The Collective. At War is a testament to the power of collaboration. STS is not about us - it's about giving the listener the absolute best version of the song possible.
