Alle The Dreamer Releases New Song “Run Home to You”
Toronto-based singer-songwriter Alle The Dreamer released a new song “Run Home to You” on September 22, 2023.
The song is the follow-up to “Magic”, which was released back in February.
Also, the track will appear on her upcoming debut EP “Starting Over”, which is set to be released on October 6, 2023.
The track was written by Alessia Iorio and produced by David Burris.
Alle The Dreamer said of the song, “I wrote the song 'Run Home to You' with LA based producer and songwriter Dave Burris, at a last minute writing session when he was visiting Toronto. It was a pretty organic experience of us meeting for the first time, chatting about our lives and upbringings, showing him a song I was just listening to when I walked into the session, and looking through hundreds of notes of lyrics on my iPhone to find the kind of lyric to fit the mood I was in that day.”
She continued, “I was listening to a lot of Kate Bush that week, so coincidentally we wrote a very Kate Bush inspired type track! We ended up finishing up the song that afternoon & we were both super proud of the song we created together.”- Alle The Dreamer said of the EP, “The theme of my EP, Starting Over, is quite literal. It was a fresh start for me in my career and personal life. I had gone through some changes and grew into someone I can be proud of. I wrote all new music for this project & my musical style changed quite a bit, so it only felt right to claim this new beginning for me as the title of my EP.”
She added, “I've mostly been reflecting and writing about how confusing relationships can be, the dynamics, dating in your 20's, the highs and lows, and all the feelings you go through and experience for the first time. Most of my songs are 'historical fiction,' as in they're based on a true story from my past, but embellished for artistic purposes.” -
