Papa Roach Drops New Music Video for “Dying To Believe (Acoustic)”
Last April, American rock band Papa Roach, consisting of Jacoby Shaddix (lead vocals), Jerry Horton (guitars), Tobin Esperance (bass), Tony Palermo (drums), released their eleventh studio album “Ego Trip”.
It is their first album in three years since the 2019 album “Who Do You Trust?”.
Back in March, the band released the deluxe edition of the album, which comprises 20-track including the previous 14-track, four remixes, one new song (demo) and one acoustic version.
Jacoby Shaddix said of the deluxe edition, “This album has been a journey for us - from recording the album in 2020 to having two No. 1 hit singles last year, to adding one of our favorite bands BEARTOOTH to this track, all for the first time on our own label. These songs rip and we're stoked get them out there. It's been one hell of an ego trip! See what I did there!?”
From the deluxe edition, the band dropped a new music video for “Dying To Believe (Acoustic)” on August 4, 2023.
The track was written by Jacoby Shaddix, Tobin Esperance, Jerry Horton, Nick Furlong, Anthony Esperance, and Colin Brittain. Produced by Papa Roach and Colin 'Doc' Brittain. The video was filmed by Bryson Roatch.
Jacoby Shaddix said of the song, “In the process of making this record, we always try to make music that means something to us, that moves us. When I look out into the world right now a lot of people are divided. The beautiful thing about music is it's a unifier. I wanted to make a song that has some hope in it.”
