Delta Goodrem Premieres New Song “Back To Your Heart” on BBC Radio 2
Australian singer-songwriter Delta Goodrem is back. She premiered a new song “Back To Your Heart” on BBC Radio 2 The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show with Gaby Roslin on August 3, 2023.
The song is her first music in two years since the 2021 album “Bridge over Troubled Dreams”.
Also it is the first single under her own label ATLED Records.
The track was written by Delta Goodrem, Matthew Copley and John Shanks. Produced by Matthew Copley.
Delta Goodrem said of the song, “I was inspired to write this new music from my experience of touring around the world last year. I knew I wanted the new record to be filled with songs that the crowd can sing back to me, and dance away the night to.”
She continued, “Back To Your Heart is the first song that I wanted to share off this exciting new era of music together. The song is about letting go of your worries and fears that are in your head, and remembering to get back to what you love and lead with your heart. It's anthemic, epic, pop. It's all about living in the here and now, and that feels liberating.”
- Delta Goodrem said of her own label, “No album or music I have ever made has come together the same way as the last. I have always been inspired by the creation of music, but also the ever changing landscape of the industry. In these moments, it's particularly thrilling to construct your own universe with like-minded individuals who have unwavering faith in you, just as you do in them. These are the hearts that will join you on the journey.”
She added, “I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude towards the incredible community that has supported me for over two decades. But times have changed and so have I. It's a new era, new world, with endless possibilities - so I created a new home for my music. Welcome to ATLED Records.”
