THE GOA EXPRESS Announces Self-Titled Debut Album, Shares New Song “Talking About Stuff”
British indie rock band THE GOA EXPRESS, consisting of James Douglas Clarke (guitar/vocals), Joe Clarke (keyboards), Joey Stein (lead guitar), Naham Muzaffar (bass) and Sam Launder (drums), announced their self-titled debut album would be released on October 20, 2023 via Communion.
The album contains 10-track, produced by Damon Minchella and Tom Manning.
The band shared on social media, “It's finally coming. Today, we announce our self-titled debut album, THE GOA EXPRESS. Out in full on October 20th. Getting to this point has been a colossal achievement for the 5 of us and we're still not sure how we got here in one piece. Between years in that dingy practice room in East Manchester, to long hours on the road and in the studio, heartbreaks, sleep deprivation, celebrations, parties, milestones... there's been ups, downs, highs and lows. But we promise not to get too sentimental. After 10 years of messing around, it's truly incredible that we have actually managed to make something and we can't wait to get it out.”
They continued, “Our debut album not only captures our friendship together over the years, but also a universal and shared feeling of growing up. We feel very proud to be able to share these ten songs with you all and feel very grateful to all of those who have helped us reach this point. It's been a long time coming...”
