Now United Covers Shanice's “I Love Your Smile”
International pop music group Now United released a cover of American singer-songwriter Shanice's “I Love Your Smile” on May 23, 2023.
The song is the follow-up to the collaborative song “Run Till Dark” with Dutch DJ R3HAB R3hab, which was released back in March.
The original version of the song was released by Shanice from her second studio album “Inner Child” in 1991.
The song features a saxophone solo by Branford Marsalis as well as laughter from Janet Jackson and René Elizondo Jr. near the end of the track.
The single reached No. 2 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
It was written by Narada Michael Walden, Sylvester Jackson, Shanice Wilson, and Jarvis Baker.
The cover version of the song was produced by Emile Ghantous and Jordan XL.
