Le Couleur Returns With New Song “Sentiments nouveaux”
Montreal-based synth-pop trio Le Couleur, consisting of Laurence Giroux-Do (vocals), Patrick Gosselin (bass) and Steeven Chouinard (drums), returned with a new song “Sentiments nouveaux” on March 3, 2023.
It is their first music in a year since the 2022 album “Concorde”.
The song is an intoxicating new cut from the three-piece, padded out with twangy, contorted riffs and balmy vocals with heady ‘80s sounds, hazy late-night rhythms and electro-heavy, synth-laden beats.
The track was written and produced by Laurence Giroux-Do, Patrick Gosselin and Steeven Chouinard.
The trio shared on social media, “Fresh new music on the menu: 'NEW FEELINGS' will have you doing a little pool-level grooving as you sip on your Bloody Caesar after-ski weekend.”- Le Couleur will perform at SXSW on March 13, 2023.
They told Austin Town Hall, “SXSW is just a must. We played in 2018 and it went so well – nice gigs, wild crowds, we love the city. Always fun to have the opportunity to play outside of the country and escape the winter for a week.” -
