Halsey & Kelsea Ballerini Perform “Homecoming Queen” & “Graveyard” on CMT Crossroads
- American singer-songwriter Halsey and country music singer-songwriter Kelsea Ballerini appeared on CMT Crossroads at Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville to perform “Homecoming Queen” and “Graveyard”.
Before the duo began performances, Halsey said to fans in Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater. “If there was any song that I wish that I wrote, it is ‘homecoming queen?’ by Kelsea Ballerini.”
“Homecoming Queen” will appear on Kelsea Ballerini's upcoming third studio album “Kelsea”, which is out March 20th. Graveyard” was released from Halsey's third studio album “Manic” last September.
“From hearing ‘Colors’ for the first time to her playing the first cut of ‘Without Me’ in my living room last year, I’ve always been a fan of Halsey,” Kelsea Ballerini shared. “I can’t think of anyone I’d rather share the stage with.”
“The first stage Kelsea and I ever shared together was a 3-foot karaoke dance floor right in Nashville,” Halsey added. “We’ve sang together in my living room, in her kitchen and in the backseat of cars in drive-thru lines late at night. This time we get to get on a real stage, one of the most iconic stages in history, and do the thing we love most in front of a city that is so dear to both of us.”
Their full performance will air on CMT on March 25th.
