New York-based actress and singer-songwriter Laura Dreyfuss will release her upcoming debut EP “Peaks” in November.
The EP comprises of 5-track, featuring guest appearance from Jeremy Pope.
From the EP, she dropped a new song “Nose To Nose” along with a music video on October 13, 2021.
It was written by Laura Dreyfuss and Michel Heyaca, who also produced the track.
The accompanying music video was directed by Mateo Marquez.
“With 'Nose To Nose', I wanted to capture the purest form of love, and I felt like a fun way to express that was writing about my dog Banjo. She's such a presence in my life,” Laura Dreyfuss said of the song. “The lyrics seem like they're about a person though! Musically, it's the joy of having this unconditional love from an innocent animal. It's a celebration of that.”
Laura Dreyfuss joined in Broadway musical “Dear Evan Hansen”, which was recently adapted into the film, and recorded its soundtrack in 2017. The musical won six Tony Awards.
She won a Daytime Emmy Award for a TV performance of “You Will Be Found” with the cast of Dear Evan Hansen in 2018.- source : Apple Music
