American Jazz singer Tony Bennett and American singer-songwriter Lady Gaga released their second collaborative album “Love For Sale” on October 1, 2021.
The album follows up the 2014 album “Cheek to Cheek” and consisting of various jazz standards by American composer Cole Porter, to whom it is a tribute.
Both artists recorded the album between 2018 and early 2020. The album comprises of 12-track, produced by Dae Bennett.
“Tony called me I think it was the next day, after the record released and had gone No. 1,” Lady Gaga told in the album trailer. “He said, 'I want to make this record with you, and it will be all Cole Porter songs,' and I just thought it was a brilliant idea.”
She added, “Tony gave me the inspiration and permission to hold court in the studio again. He reminded me that I am the artist. I know he's 95 years old, but I see a young boy every time I sing with him. It makes the experience so freeing to have two souls singing together.”
Tony Bennett said, “She's got so much talent that the minute we're together, something very good happens between the two of us.”- mwngaBRKCcY

She continued, “I really want young kids to listen to jazz music, because it's important. It is not something that should be left behind. It is something that should be coveted so sacredly forever.”
She added, “I hope that I can make Tony proud throughout my career by carrying jazz forward and continuing to sing it. This has been really special, and it's a time I'll never forget. I can only hope and pray that when people hear this record, they know the value of that sort of intergenerational friendship.”
Tony Bennett recently announced that he will no longer be a touring musician, at the direction of his medical team following a diagnosis with Alzheimer's Disease. His final public performance was held at Radio City Music Hall on his 95th birthday alongside Lady Gaga for One Last Time: An Evening With Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga.
