American rock band Evanescence unveiled a new song “Better Without You” from their upcoming fifth studio album “The Bitter Truth”.
The track is the fifth single off, following “Wasted on You”, “The Game Is Over”, “Use My Voice” and “Yeah Right”.
It was written by Amy Lee, Jen Majura, Nick Raskulinecz, Tim McCord, Troy McLawhorn and Will Hunt. Produced by Nick Raskulinecz.
The new album is out March 26 via BMG Rights Management. It is their first album in four years.
“The energy was just amped,” frontwoman Amy Lee told Rolling Stone. “We were in there on fire. Now, the guys are back at their homes, and I am wading through the aftermath of all the music, piecing it together and finalizing the record. …The upside of this time is that I’ve had to buckle down and focus.
