Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Ludic Releases New Song “Digital Release”
Vancouver-based alt-pop band Ludic, consisting of Ayla Tesler-Mabe, Rhett Cunningham and Max Cunningham, has unveiled a new song “Digital Release”.
The song is their first single of 2021. The track seamlessly blend vintage and present soul, funk, and pop sound.
“"Digital Release" is a love letter to all things imagined – all the media, movies, video games, books, and stories which allow us to let go of this reality and escape,” Ludic said of the song. “This song was really meant to feel like a portal to that world and reflect how it makes us feel. It was heavily inspired by the popular artists of our early youth in order to achieve a nostalgic but fresh identity.”
They continued, “We have created a mood on "Digital Release" that is funky and fun, combined with more somber and sensitive moments. It's very intimate, and seeks to capture what it feels like to get really immersed in a piece of media. You get transported.”- source : SoundCloud
