Theo Tams Releases New Song “Fixable”
- Back in January, Canadian singer-songwriter Theo Tams released his first single of 2021, called “Gasoline”.
Following the song, he unveiled a new song “Fixable” on February 12th.
The track was written by Theo Tams and Ally Sou. Produced by Marty Martino.
After the releasing, he performed the song at Slaight Sessions.
Theo Tams said of the song, “There have been times where I've had to ask myself the question - is this too far gone? Is it broken? And if it is broken, can it be fixed? My new single, "Fixable," is about how complicated it can be to apply the concept of fixing what's broken to love, rather than looking for something new. I think the foundation of all good relationships is being willing to admit when there are cracks and finding the quickest way to fix them – but that type of awareness can't come if you're blind to it.”
He continued, “The classic feel of this song was inspired by old school RnB from the 90s, really driving those sounds and effortless phrasing of their melodies. Co-writing with Ally Sou allowed us to develop the innate flow of "Fixable," which was reflected in the ease of our ability to work with each other. Producer Marty Martino dove into creating sonics with harmonies, vocal pads, and layered vocals for this track to create a unique vibe.”
