Shannon Clark & the Sugar Premieres New Music video for “Carry Me”
Americana alt-folk family band Shannon Clark & the Sugar released a new music video for “Carry Me” on January 13, 2021.
The song is included on their debut EP “From Memorial Hall (The Sugar Sessions)”, which was released in March 2020.
The video was directed by Shawn Spitler, who filmed it in Darke County, Ohio.
The clip follows a single mother who is struggling with addiction after losing a child.
Shannon Clark said of the song, “The song was very personal for our family and when I got the call to work with Shawn [Spitler] it was just a no brainer that we wanted to make this happen in our hometown. The song is about coming home and it just made sense. The crew we had was amazing, we had so many wonderful people including local [cinematographer] Olga Wagner and Frank Steele as well as actress Oakley Boycott from New York City.”
In addition to the video, the band announced their debut album “Marks on the Wall” will be released in May 2021. Produced by Mark Howard.- source : Last Day Deaf
