Ruel Drops New Music Video for “say it over” featuring Cautious Clay
Back in October, British-Australian singer-songwriter Ruel released his third EP “Bright Lights, Red Eyes”.
The 5-track EP is his first project in a year following the 2019 EP “Free Time”.
Ruel said, “I want to get across that this project is another step forward in maturity for me. Free Time was a step up from Ready, and this Bright Lights, Red Eyes EP is a step up again. This project was a stream of consciousness when I was writing it at the time, and I feel like that's the way all projects and songs are for me. They are moments in time.”
From the EP, he dropped a new music video for “say it over” on December 17th. Directed by Grey Ghost.
The track features American singer-songwriter Cautious Clay. It was written by Sarah Aarons, M-Phazes, Cautious Clay and Ruel.
“I wrote it in Paris with Sarah Aarons. [...] and I kept hearing his voice on the song, I kept hearing his tone, and I asked him and he said yes. And I've met him a few times, so there's already been a relationship there, and yeah, then he came back with his verse and I was blown away. Bada bing bada boom, Ruel featuring Cautious Clay.”- UsJHGTt4sDs
