Canadian alt-rock singer-songwriter JJ Wilde unveiled a new song “Mercy” on November 20th.
Back in June, she released her long-awaited debut album “Ruthless” including smash hit “The Rush”.
Following the album, “Best Boy” was released in August. The song reached No. 1 on the Billboard Canada Rock chart.
The new track “Mercy” is the second single following the album. She has already filmed the music video, which will be premiered soon.
“”Mercy” is a story of revenge,” JJ Wilde said. “It is about a man who tries to steal something from a woman. Her sense of self, safety, control. He tries, but he does not succeed. We have all wanted revenge at one moment in our lives, whether it's just a thought, or we actually go through with it. In this case, it is taken to the extreme, and she is pushed to the absolute limits. This story/song, like many of my songs, comes from personal experience.
