Canadian singer-songwriter Serena Ryder unveiled a new song “Waterfall” from her upcoming ninth studio album “The Art of Falling Apart” on October 16th.
The song is the second single off of the new album following “Candy” released back in July.
The accompanying music video was directed by Cameron Roden and Serena Ryder, starring Canadian activist and dancer Sarain Fox.
Serena Ryder said of the song, “I have so many feelings that I have swallowed, and they add up, coming out one way or another – often by bypassing the truth, getting angry, defensive, even masking with partying or bad relationships. I’ve found that tears are actually the best way to heal, because we actually release healing hormones when we cry. I’d love to normalize crying, and this is a song about the many times tears have healed me.”
The new album contains 10-track and is set to be released in early 2021.- source : ET Canada
