Black Eyed Peas Releases New Album “Translation”: Streaming
- American hip-hop trio Black Eyed Peas released their eighth studio album “Translation” on June 19th.
It is their first LP in two years. Also it has been released in the UK via RCA Records, which is their first album via that particular label.
The album contains 15-track, featuring guest appearances from J Balvin, Maluma, Ozuna, J.Rey Soul, Shakira, Nicky Jam, Tyga, El Alfa, J.Rey Soul, Piso 21, Becky G and French Montana.
The album features Latin music in additions to hip-hop. will.i.am told Wonderland Magazine about the album, “Translation is empathy, understanding, collaboration. To translate from one culture, and one language into something somebody else can understand, it takes patience, it takes tolerance, it takes educating. Translation is the bridge. And Black Eyed Peas, we bridge the gap, from this culture to that culture. We were the bridge between electronic music and pop. We were the bridge between what was going on in America to the rest of the world with “Where Is The Love?” Now we’re bridging what’s happening in the Latin community to the rest of the world.”
- The group shared on social media, “This album was a true labor of love. We spent many sleepless nights and days in the studio trying to craft a project that unified the global sounds of today. We truly hope this album brings you a little joy, happiness, and good vibes during these dark, uncertain times. Light is love, and love is: empathy, understanding, appreciation & collaboration... This is TRANSLATION.
Thank you to J Balvin, MALUMA, Ozuna, Shakira, Nicky Jam, and to all of our collaborators for welcoming us into your worlds with open arms, and for allowing us to contribute to Latin culture. Big love to our Epic Records fam and to all of our #peabodies for the continuous support”
