Tones And I Releases Two New Songs “Bad Child” & “You Can’t Be Happy All The Time”
- Australian alt-pop singer-songwriter Tones And I has released two new songs “Bad Child” and “You Can’t Be Happy All The Time”.
Both songs is a double A-side single.
“Bad Child” is a heartbreaking story of a friend, which she simply brought to life. “I’ve always wanted to write a song in someone else’s shoes; writing from their perspective. “Bad Child” was the first time I got to do that. It’s seeing life growing up through someone else’s eyes,” Tones and I said in a statement. “”Can’t Be Happy All the Time” is a song about the struggles of rising to fame so quickly and dealing with a dramatic change in lifestyle – the good and bad that comes with it”.
“It seems sad,” she admits. “But I wrote it in a way that was overcoming that feeling of feeling like I was confused about my emotions, after everything that happened last year.”
She has currently toured in Europe, North America and Australia through to July 31st.
