Phantoms Premieres New Song “Are You Up?” featuring Shaylen
Los Angeles-based EDM duo Phantoms has unveiled a new song “Are You Up?” with an accompanying lyric video.
Last year, the duo teamed up with American actress Vanessa Hudgens for "Lay With Me".
This time the duo recruited LA singer-songwriter Shaylen for the new song.
The song is the first taste from their upcoming EP. The duo said, “‘Are You Up’ is the first single from our upcoming EP, and it’s about those late night loves we’ve all had from time to time. It’s not necessarily a good or bad thing, but you both know it’s not going be more. Working with Shaylen on this the track was incredible. She’s extremely talented and her voice complemented the sultry late-night vibe of track perfectly.”
Shaylen adds, “I’ve definitely gotten my share of those late night ‘are you up’ texts. Sometimes I’ve responded and other times, not so much. I like how conversational ‘Are You Up’ is. It’s honest and doesn't try too hard.”- source : Billboard
