Zedd Premieres New Music Video for “Happy Now” featuring Elley Duhé
Russian-German DJ Zedd dropped a new music video for “Happy Now” directed by Dori Oskowitz.
Earlier this month, he released another version video for the song, directed by YODER.
This time, the video is like short film, in which a woman retaliates against her unfaithful boyfriend.
The song was released back in July, featuring American singer-songwriter Elley Duhé. It was written by Zedd, LotusIV, Sarah Aarons and Noonie Bao.
Zedd said of the song, “Lyrically, it’s a song that is both happy and sad at the same time. Musically, it’s a song that rather leans towards a happier, sunnier side.”
Also, he used real instruments on the song, especially piano and guitars, as the most organic sounding song unlike his previously songs.
The song climbed No. 8 on the US Hot Dance/Electronic Songs and No. 2 on the US Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles.- source : Rolling Stone
