Chappell Roan Premieres New Music Video for “Sugar High”
American singer-songwriter Chappell Roan dropped a new music video for “Sugar High”, directed by Ethan Seneker. The video was premiered exclusively on Directlyrics.
The song is included on her debut EP "School Nights", which was released last September. Recently she has released a new song "Bitter" following the EP.
Chappell Roan is 19-year-old from Willard, Missouri. When she was 16, she showcased for multiple major labels in New York. She said, “It was a crazy moment. I couldn’t believe where I was, but I knew I wanted this. When I sing, I want people to feel every emotion. I hope they get a better understanding of me as a human being and not just as a singer. I want them to know who I am.”
She signed to Atlantic Records even before finishing her junior year of high school and debuted with “Good Hurt” in 2017. Followed by, she released the debut EP "School Nights".
About the EP, she said, "The EP is kind of little bits and pieces of the bigger story of what the album will be. There's a bigger picture that's coming — I'm really excited to do all this. It seems like it's taken a long time, but everything is moving fast, and I'm so happy and grateful for the response."
