Canadian singer-songwriter LØLØ released a new song “poser” on February 23, 2024.
The song is the the second single of 2024, following the release of “2 of us” last month.
It was written by David Arkwright, Lauren Mandel, and Mike Robinson. Produced by Mike Robinson and David Arkwright.
The accompanying music video was directed by Josiah Van Dien.
LØLØ said of the song, “'Poser' is about someone who really got me good, who really truly made me believe they loved me, when it later became clear to me, they simply couldn’t have. Being a girl who enjoys rocking from time to time, I’ve sadly gotten called a poser many times by internet bullies. I thought the word was actually really pretty though, so I wrote it down in my notes after seeing some comments on my page. Since then, I always thought it would be cool to use the word poser relating to love. This ones for all the real posers out there.”
She shared on social media, “I got the idea to write poser after some guys called me a poser on reddit lol. I thought it was a really cool title for a song if used when speaking about love. This one’s for anyone else who ever dated a poser.”- source : Apple Music
