Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Peyton Shay released the first single called “Twisted Saint” from her upcoming 5-track EP on February 8, 2024.
The song delves into the emotionally charged theme of a toxic relationship and captures the tumultuous experience of being drawn to someone psychologically harmful.
It spotlights how our attraction can become more addictive despite knowledge of its detrimental nature.
The track was written by Adam Castilla and Peyton Shayler.
Peyton Shay said of the song, “I’ve been in the studio for about a year writing and recording this next chapter. I knew I wanted to push myself musically and lyrically, and to me, this song embodies that. It spotlights how our attraction can become more addictive despite knowledge of its detrimental nature. I hope you love it.”
