The Boxer Rebellion Releases New Song “A Man As Alive As The City”
London-based indie rock band The Boxer Rebellion, consisting of Nathan Nicholson (vocals/guitar/keyboards), Andrew Smith (lead guitar), Adam Harrison (bass) and Piers Hewitt (drums), released the third single called “A Man As Alive As The City” from their upcoming EP “Open Arms” on January 17, 2024.
The song features single-note piano lines, frenetic guitar loops and pulsing beats.
The track was written and produced by Adam Harrison, Andrew Smith, Nathan Nicholson, Piers Hewitt.
The band lead singer Nathan Nicholson said of the song, “'A Man As Alive As The City' is a feeling more than anything. It’s about restlessness and change. I find it hard a lot of times to unwind, like I have electricity in my veins, constantly overthinking and moving like a city that never sleeps.”
The new EP comprises a 4-track and is set to be released on February 14, 2024.
It is their first project in six years since the 2018 album “Ghost Alive”- source : Apple Music
