Reneé Rapp & Coco Jones Team Up for New Remix of “Tummy Hurts”
American actress and singer-songwriter Reneé Rapp teamed up with American singer-songwriter Coco Jones to release a new remix of “Tummy Hurts” on November 17, 2023.
The song is featured on the deluxe edition of her debut album “Snow Angel”.
The track was written by Reneé Rapp, Alexander 23, Delacey and Coco Jones. Produced by Alexander 23.
The accompanying music video was directed by Cole Santiago.
Reneé Rapp told Apple Music about the song, “This was the last song we wrote that ended up making the album. It started because I wrote down in my notes one day the sentence 'My tummy hurts, he's in love with her.' It wasn't really about any specific situation, which is usually where I write from. I love this almost childlike way of saying I have a stomach ache and then this really adult feeling of someone is in love with somebody else. I liked how it felt and I liked how it was worded. And it all came from there.”- The deluxe edition features 16-track, including the previous 12 songs and four new songs.
Reneé Rapp shared on social media, “Making this album has been the greatest gift and doing it with my best friend was icing on a sweet ass cake. I love you more than anything baby Alexander 23 !! 'Messy' is me as fuck, 'I Do' is a hopeless romantic (me) and 'Swim' is our favorite song we've made so far. Coco Jones, it's like you were made to be on this track. wowowowowow I’m emotional go take a shot for me love you guys x” -
