  • Charlotte Sands Releases New Song “pity”

  • Back in September, Nashville-based pop-punk singer-songwriter Charlotte Sands announced that her debut album “can we start over?” would be released on January 24, 2024.

The album follows up the 2022 EP “Love and Other Lies” and the 2023 EP “Good Now”.
The EP “Love and Other Lies” won Best Breakthrough Album at the Heavy Music Awards 2023 in May 2023.
Charlotte Sands said of the album, “This album is about the idea of beginning again. I’ve changed so much over the last few years personally and in my career and I love the concept of starting over as who i am now with the information and knowledge I've gained. It’s not about forgetting the past or regretting our choices, but more so letting go of the previous version of ourselves and meeting each other where we are at this moment in the phase that we’re currently in. For me, this album represents exactly that, standing firmly where I am as the person I am today.”
She added, “I hope this album conveys strength, confidence, and power within vulnerability. It feels like holding a mirror to myself and reflects exactly how I feel right now in this phase of my life. I feel more secure in who I am as a person and as an artist than I’ve ever been.”
  • From the album, she released the third single called “pity” on November 15, 2023, following “use me” and “get over it”.
The track was written by Charlotte Sands, Jordan Lutes, Keith 'Ten4' Sorrells, Alex Nice. Produced by Keith 'Ten4' Sorrells and Alex Nice.
The accompanying music video was directed by David O'Donohue.
Charlotte Sands embarks on “Can We Start Over?” World Tour in the US, the UK, Australia and Europe in 2024.
The tour kicks off at Parish in Austin, TX on March 7, 2024 and will conclude at The Garage in London, UK on June 21, 2024.

Charlotte Sands said, “I am so incredibly excited to announce the can we start over tour. I'll be playing shows all over the US as well as some in the UK/EU (some of my very first headline shows in your cities ahhh !!!). I cant believe it's finally happening and I cant wait to jump around and scream these songs with you until I pass the fuck outtttttt !!!!! ”
