Darius Martin Releases New Song “Sparks Don't Fly” featuring Shantal Vella
Los Angeles based R&B singer-songwriter Darius Martin released a new song “Sparks Don't Fly” on September 14, 2023.
This time, he teamed up with Latin singer-songwriter Shantal Vell on the track.
The track was written by Darius Martin, Shantal Botero-Velasco, and Juan Mendez.
Darius Martin said of the song, “'Sparks Don't Fly' is about the relationships that you go through sometimes they end and you having to move on with your life. And the sparks stop flying, so you gotta continue on moving forward and letting God take control of the wheel and just keep going from there.”
Shantal Vella added, “I think to me, it represents the toxic relationships that you can't be in the push and pull, and but we all live in it, we all go through it, so it's just something you have to...but it's something we all got to learn, so we wrote a song about it.”- Also, this song is focused on domestic violence and a part of the proceeds will be donated to organizations that champion the rights of those in need.
He teamed up with non-profit Doorways to generate funds with his new single ahead of October Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
