British singer-songwriter James Blunt has announced his seventh studio album “Who We Used to Be” will be released on October 27, 2023.
It is his first album in four years since the 2019 album “Once Upon a Mind”.
The album comprises 10-track, where he worked with a variety of producers, including Jonny Coffer, Red Triangle, Jack & Coke, and Steve Robson.
From the album, he released the first single called “Beside You” on August 2, 2023.
The track was written by James Blunt, James Essien, Ennio Morricone, Richard Boardman and David Strääf. Produced by The Six.
James Blunt said of the song, in a statement, “It's a bit of a celebration. An upbeat banger about finally being with the one you've been searching for your whole life.”-
