Aisha Badru Releases New Song “Inside”
American singer-songwriter Aisha Badru released a new song “Inside” on May 5, 2023.
The song is the third single off of her upcoming EP “Learning to Love Again”, which is set to be released on June 2, 2023 via Nettwerk.
On the track, she collaborated with her longtime producer Chris Hutchinson.
The accompanying music video was directed by Laura-Lynn Petrick.
Aisha Badru said of the song “I remember feeling like the ultimate goal is to find someone who loves you, and then realizing that the ultimate goal is to love yourself. Until you love yourself, you won’t really know what true love is.”
She continued, “Everything has a purpose. I was meant to be here, doing this. And it’s just part of my purpose to experience certain levels of trauma that are very universal, go through every process of healing, and somehow put it together so I can help guide someone else.”- Photo by Benny Renee
