Ari Abdul Releases New Song “You”
American singer-songwriter Ari Abdul released a new song “You” on April 21, 2023 via RCA Records.
The song is the second single following “Bored” released back in February, since the 2022 debut EP “Fallen Angel”.
It was written by Arianna Abdul, David Wilson, and Ella Boh. Produced by dwilly.
The accompanying music video was directed by Ryan Faist.
Ari Abdul said of the song, “'You' is about the feeling of 'love at first sight'. However, it comes with a dark twist that is obsessive and almost psychotic. I wanted to create a song that came from the perspective of someone with a strong fixation on someone who isn't even aware.”- Ari Abdul debuted with “BABYDOLL” in February 2022, which accrued over 200M global streams to date.
She released the debut EP Fallen Angel last October, which was inspired by “loss of innocence and connection with oneself into a distorted, wicked version.”
