  • Bree Runway Premieres New Song “Be The One” with Khalid on BBC Radio 1

  • London-based singer-songwriter Bree Runway premiered a new song “Be The One” on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Clara Amfo.

She teamed up with American singer-songwriter Khalid on the track.
The track was written by Bree Runway, Khalid, Digi, Styalz Fuego, and Justin Lucas.
Produced by Digi, Styalz Fuego, Justin Lucas, Khalid Robinson, and Denis Kosiak.
The accompanying music video was directed by Zachary Bailey.
“This collaboration is special to me for more than one reason; I'm obsessed with this song; our voices marry together perfectly,” Bree Runway said. “It magically came together from a hangout in the studio; I love Khalid for his light and his incredible character, I'm really proud to call him a friend, and now musical collaborator. This release will be major, very excited for the world to hear!”
Khalid added, “I've been a supporter of Bree since long before I even met her, and I have always been a fan of her artistry. She has always been a superstar in my eyes and I'm beyond excited to share this moment and collaboration with someone who I can call a genuine friend!”
  • Bree Runway told about the collaboration with Khalid, “Khalid just makes me feel really safe. Like he's an artist that I've met that the humility is like no other than the just the way he listens, the way he's open to collaborate. So he makes me feel really safe. So I think that's why it almost sounds so girly on the song because he may I felt completely guided by him for you the recording progress and percent sorry. I think that's why I sound like such a go on it because when I'm by myself I'm like five times. Yes, I'm a rock star. Yes, but with Khalid I'm like, I'm just a girl in a world.”
She added, “I do a whole album and tour with him. He is someone that there's no direction he couldn't tell me to go that I would go like I trust his direction. Immensely like so I do anything with him.”
Khalid said with the tape, “Hey, what's up Bree, Khalid is here. I just want to let you know I'm extremely proud of you. This is your moment. I'm so happy for you to deserve it all and then some. I love you Bree and I can't wait to see you soon.”
