Victoria-based blues singer-songwriter Jesse Roper released a new song “Make It All Work Out” along with a live music video on March 29, 2023.
The song is the first music since the 2022 album “Horizons”.
The track was written by Jesse Lee Roper and produced by Gus van Go.
Jesse Roper said of the song, “This song turned out to be me predicting my own future. She walked on me again - and I get it - my life doesn't follow the status quo script of getting a predictable job, finding a predictable partner, buying a barely affordable house, having a baby, and living life happily ever after waiting for the next Netflix mini series to make monotonous life bearable. That isn't me.”
He continued, “I wrote it thinking about times gone past, and sent it along to Producer Gus van Go. The bass line and rhythm popped straight into his head basically the same as I heard it in mine and before we even got together to record it, the song was ready. It's a laidback sit in your chair and bop your head tune with a couple energy elements that make me wanna shake. Everyone needs something to make their butt wiggle.”- O-Cpumr18TU
