  • slowthai Premieres New Song “Feel Good” on BBC Radio 1

  • British rapper Tyron Kaymone Frampton, aka slowthai premiered a new song “Feel Good” along with a music video on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Clara Amfo.

The song is the second single off of his upcoming third studio album “UGLY”, following “Selfish” released back in January.
It was written by slowthai, Sega Bodega, Kwes Darko, and Dan Care. Produced by Kwes Darko, Sega Bodega, and Dan Carey.
The track features British rapper Shygirl as backing vocals.
The accompanying video was directed by UNCANNY and THE REST.
On the clip, slowthai selected 35 fans to listen to the song for the first time on camera and captured their real reaction. Also he surprise visited each fan's room.
slowthai told Clara Amfo about the song, “This is about not feeling good mantra to make you feel good. so I hope if anyone out there wakes up and they're having a bad day, This can maybe turn it around and help them feel good.”
  • The new album comprises 12-track and is set to be released on March 3, 2023.
slowthai said of the meaning the album title “ugly”, “I think you turn that can negative into a positive so I've been about my whole career. I think we use the word and the terminology is obviously subjective to the person but that to me the things that I believe are the best and the most beautiful and is that things that the cliche and beautiful to most people, they kind of veer me away. I think we should stop going with what the social norm is and just do what we think is beautiful. It's just stands for you got to love yourself. That every day you got to look in the mirror and even if you feel ugly, it turned into that positive. For me, I wanted to do the thing that no one wants to do. And go where no one's been. And the places where you're the most uncomfortable are the places where you should thrive. And as an artist, that's where you belong. The moment you feel. You found yourself I think that's when you're the most lost.”
