Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Dorothy Drops New Music Video for “Black Sheep”
American rock band Dorothy, consisting of Dorothy Martin (lead vocals), Devon Pangle (guitar), Jason Ganberg (drums), Eli Wulfmeier (guitar) and Eliot Lorango (bass), has dropped a new music video for “Black Sheep”.
The song was released as the second single back in March from their third studio album “Gifts from the Holy Ghost”.
It was written by Dorothy Martin, Scott Stevens, Blair Daly and Zac Maloy. Produced by Scott “The Ninja” Stevens.
The video was directed by Nick Peterson.
Dorothy Martin said of the video, “I train Muay Thai and boxing for strength as well as mental health. It was great to work with Nick Peterson again and to incorporate this sport with my music. Director Nick Peterson said, “This is the third time that Dorothy and I have worked together, we love all of the same comics, movies and music and we always have a great time coming up with concepts. She brings a ton of energy and gives it on every single take. Dorothy has been busy training these last few months to star in a project that we are working on, portraying her as a bad ass demon fighter. Once I heard the song I knew that the idea of her as a fighter was the perfect theme to hang our hat to.”
The new album was released back in April and comprises 10-track. It is their first album in four years since the 2018 alum “28 Days in the Valley”.- source : Apple Music
