Sacramento-based Japanese singer-songwriter Zenya Ray has released his fifth single called “Even the Angels”.
The song is a sequel to his debut song “Guardian Angel”, which was released back in January.
It draws his experience getting through his severe depression following his divorce.
The track was written by Zenya Ray, and produced by Haris Pranowo, who also arranged and played the piano.
Zenya Ray said of the song, “I wrote the original song on my acoustic guitar and worked with my producer to arrange the song primarily using the keyboard and the electric guitar. It's about a real-life couple who helped me get through severe depression following my divorce. It's a song of appreciation for their unconditional love and support.
