Canadian singer-songwriter Chudi Harris is back with a new song “How It's Always Been”.
It is his first music since the 2021 single “Summer Night Songs” featuring Aquakultre, which was released from “The North Star: Finding Black Mecca” soundtrack.
The track was written by Chudi Harris, and Carleton Stone, who also produced it.
Chudi Harris said of the song, “'No mistake, we're in love – that's how it's always been.' This line is at the heart of my new single and first collaboration with co-writer and producer Carleton Stone, reflecting on romance as well as the love and security that can be shared between friends and family. I took inspiration from mid '00s pop punk, fusing that sound with my unique style of smooth vocals and fun, thumpy bass.”
He continued, “In writing "How It's Always Been," I learned that art doesn't always have to be so damn serious. You can have some fun and still make it meaningful. I hope that you enjoy the clarity in my songwriting and can relate to the message behind this single.”- Photo by William Dicks
