Jack White Releases New Song “If I Die Tomorrow”
American singer-songwriter Jack White will release his fifth studio album “Entering Heaven Alive” on July 22, 2022 via Third Man Records.
The album follows up “Fear of the Dawn”, which was released back in April, and is his second album of the year
Jack White told Guitar World, “The second of these albums, Entering Heaven Alive, follows on July 22, and it’s a different animal altogether. A more subdued, acoustic-laced work, it showcases a softer, quieter side to Jack White.”
He continued, “This is the first time where it was like, ‘Wow, this song is so heavy and this song is so soft and melancholy. They cannot go next to each other on a record.’ On my computer, I had softer songs on one playlist, and the harder songs were on another. So it was kind of simple – the songs divided themselves up.”
From the new album, he unveiled a new song “If I Die Tomorrow” along with a music video on June 8, 2022.
The track is the fourth single off of the album, following “Queen Of The Bees”, “Love Is Selfish”, and “Taking Me Back (gently)”.
It was written and produced by Jack White. The video was directed by Brantley Gutierrez.
The new album comprises 11-track. He recorded wrote the album at his home in Nashville, then recorded at his Third Man Studios.
