Toronto-based alt-pop singer-songwriter Juliana Eye released a new song “Wasted Youth” on April 29, 2022.
The song will appear on her upcoming debut EP, which is expected to be released later this year.
It was written by Juliana Iannuzziello and Tal Vaisman. Produced by Tal Vaisman.
The track is an upbeat, coming of age tale about the struggle of adolescence, and reflecting on painful experiences that shape us.
Juliana Eye said of the song, “'Wasted Youth' was inspired by the idea of looking back on your life, seeing all that you've endured, and celebrating how much you've grown. I wrote the chorus of this song while driving my car and sitting in traffic, just working through the idea of lost time and being frustrated.
