Walk off the Earth Covers Macy Gray's “I Try”
Canadian alt-pop band Walk off the Earth released a cover of Macy Gray's “I Try” on April 8, 2022.
Sarah Blackwood and Gianni Nicassio from Walk off the Earth record an acoustic version of the song on a mountain top in the Guanacaste region of Costa Rica.
The original version of the song was released by American singer-songwriter Macy Gray in 1999.
It was written by Macy Gray, Jeremy Ruzumna, Jinsoo Lim an David Wilder.
The song reached No. 5 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
Walk off the Earth shared on social media, “Love this tune! Should we release the full video?”
The band embarks on Meet You There Tour in June. The tiur kicks off at Agora Ballroom in Cleveland on June 2, 2022.
