Christina Perri Releases New Song “evergone”
American singer-songwriter Christina Perri released a new song “evergone” on March 24, 2022.
The song is her first single since the 2021 album “songs for rosie”, which was the first anniversary of her child Rosie's death.
It was written by Christina Perri, Jennifer Decilveo, Jordan Miller and Jason Bell. Produced by Jennifer Decilveo.
Christina Perri shared on social media, “when i lost my daughter i decided that she was going to live with me in my heart, in my breath, in my every moment. this is what i'm singing about, and it really helped me. i hope it helps you too.”
Also, the song will appear on her upcoming fifth studio album.
“That song healed me so much,” Christina Perri told ABC Audio. “It was so authentically sort of put in my life at a time where I wasn't even sure I was going to do this album or go back to work…I was in…like, a grief house is kind of what I call it…and I sort of stumbled upon this song.”
She continued, “It really kind of helped me. I mean, I already had an album finished. I just wasn't sure what was gonna happen next.I want to finish writing that. I want to make it my story. This could have just been a project for me…just to help me remember I love creating. I feel like my whole career. I've never skirted around real things I was going through.”- TqUKdLFH6TM
