  • L Devine Premieres New Song “Die On The Dancefloor” on BBC Radio 1

  • British singer-songwriter Olivia Rebecca Devine, aka L Devine premiered a new song “Die On The Dancefloor” along with a music video on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Clara Amfo.
The song is included on her new EP “Near Life Experience Part Two”.
The EP comprises of 5-track and is a sequel to a previous EP “Near Life Experience Part One” released back in July.
The track was written by L Devine, Julian Bunetta, Kendrick Nicholls, Mags Duval and Sherwyn Nicholls. Produced by Two Fresh Beats.
L Devine shared on social media, “This song is a celebration of life and the freedom I feel on the middle of a dancefloor”
She told Clara Amfo, “You've hit the nail on the head, totally. I love it, I just think I like the way that it totally romanticizes like the dirtiest night out ever like, isn't it, it's just making poetry and magic out of a proper gnarly night out like train is in the cloud, I would stick to the floor.”
  • She said, “I think missing going out, I mean I think this song to me is like all the nights out with missed out on over the past two years. But I guess in a way that does make me feel a bit nostalgic about bourbon, I mean my first experiences in a club were in Newcastle, that's where I grew up so my first nights out, and this was when I was a teenager as well I hadn't found my scene yet I was like, still in school sneaking out, so it was very Jordy Show esque night so I actually bumped into Scotland to church. It's the real deal and you got Newcastle I'm telling you.”
She continued, “I wasn't that girl you know I mean, I think I was a bit annoying when it first started going out, I was always a bit shy and was maybe a bit too cool for it but now I'm the biggest loser in the club and I go for it, especially after the two years were passed every night out and get and now I'm just going hard until I die on the dance floor. That's what it's all about. It's all about the freedom that I feel when I'm with my mates on a dance floor.”
